Immunity booster chicken broth

Easy, quick and healthy recipe with 100% organic products from The Barn presented by WESH food 🌾☝🏻

For 6 persons


✔ 4 litres of water

✔ 1 whole chicken

✔ The juice of 1/2 lemon

✔ 1 big carrot

✔ 1 leek

✔ 1 branch of celery

✔ 1 onion

✔ 1 clove of garlic

✔ Choice of herbs and spices

✔ 2 tablespoons of salt



➡ Place all the ingredients in a large saucepan and let infuse over low heat and half-covered for 3 to 4 hours. Strain through a sieve. You can store this infusion in the refrigerator for up to one week (three months in the freezer).

💡 TIPS: 💡

✔ You can discard the vegetables so as not to overload the gut unnecessarily.

✔ Lemon juice is used as an acid to extract minerals from the bones.

✔ You can use the vegetables of your choice: turnip, kohlrabi, fennel, etc. You can also use the (organic) peelings from your other preparations.
