Fast and healthy recipe for 4 sweet potatoes toasts by WESH food with 100% The Barn products ! 

Here are our 4 favorite toppings: two sweet, two salty!

FOR THE TOASTS: 1 large sweet potato and that’s it!

  1. Wash the sweet potato, make two slices of ½ cm with a good knife.
  2. Put them in the toaster (as long as possible).
  3. Let cool on a rack.

CARAMELIZED PEAR & RICOTTA CHEESE

Ingredients

✔️ 20 g crushed pecans (1 handful)
✔️ 50 g of Ricotta or cream cheese
✔️ 1 pear peeled and diced
✔️ 1 tbsp lemon juice
✔️ 1 teaspoon of liquid honey

Steps
  1. Caramelize the pear cubes: cook them for 5 minutes over high heat with the lemon and honey, stirring regularly.
  2. Spread the ricotta or cream cheese on the toast, add the pears and decorate with pecans.

BANANA CRUNCHY

Ingredients

✔️ 1 banana cut into thin slices
✔️ Oilseed puree of your choice (we have chosen almond puree)
✔️ 20 g granola crunchy (bulk section)

Steps
  1. Spread the oilseed puree on the toast,
  2. Arrange the banana slices, sprinkle with granola crunchy.

HUMMUS & MUSHROOMS

Ingredients

✔️ 100 g mushrooms (e.g. 5 large chestnut mushrooms)
✔️ 1 clove of minced garlic
✔️ 1 tablespoon olive oil
✔️ Parsley
✔️ Pepper
✔️ 1 jar of hummus (fresh shelf) or homemade hummus

Steps
  1. Brown the garlic in olive oil, add the mushrooms and a turn of the pepper mill, heat over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring regularly.
  2. Spread the hummus on the toast, cover with mushrooms, sprinkle with sunflower seeds and parsley.

AVOCADO & CARROT

Ingredients

✔️ 1 avocado
✔️ 1 colored carrot
✔️ 1 tbsp lemon juice
✔️ Salt, pepper
✔️ Sesame seeds

Steps
  1. With a spaghetti peeler, create carrot spaghetti (tip: make cuts lengthwise with a knife on the carrot before you use the peeler, this creates finer spaghetti).
  2. Mash the avocado with the salt, pepper and lemon juice with a fork.
  3. Spread the avocado on the toast, decorate with the carrot spaghetti and sesame seeds.
