Apple and pear tart

Quick and healthy recipe with 100% The Barn products suggested by WESH food

Ingredients

1 pie

✔ 1 shortcrust pastry

✔ 2 pears

✔ 1 apple

✔ 20g slivered almonds

✔ 2 small lemons

✔ 50g brown cane sugar

✔ 2 tablespoons flour

✔ 2 tsp cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 150°.
  2.  Peel and core the pears and apple and cut into thin strips.
  3. Roll out the shortcrust pastry in a pie tin.
  4. Mix the juice of the lemons, sugar, flour and cinnamon.
  5. Brush the fruit slices with the mixture and spread them on the pastry (pears around and apple in the centre).
  6. Sprinkle with slivered almonds.
  7. Fold in the edges of the pastry and brush them with the same mixture.
  8. Pour the rest of the mixture over the fruit.
  9. Bake for 40 minutes.
