Egg muffins

Quick and healthy recipe for a savoury cake, with 100% The Barn products suggested by WESH food

Ingredients

6 egg muffins

✔ 6 Eggs

✔ 4 slices of bacon

✔ 30 g grated Gruyère

✔ 30 g asparagus

✔ 30 g leeks

✔ 10 g young onions

✔ 5-6 basil leaves

✔ Salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Bake the smoked bacon on the grill for 10-15 minutes (place baking paper on the oven tray, about 10 cm below your grill, to catch the fat and not dirty your oven). Remove the bacon from the oven and place on paper towels to absorb the excess fat. Cut them into pieces.
  3. Rinse the vegetables and cut them into small pieces, grate the Gruyère cheese and chop the basil.
  4. In a bowl, beat the eggs, add all the other ingredients and the salt and pepper and pour into small silicone (or stainless steel, previously greased) moulds.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes and enjoy!

 

Tip: You can use this recipe endlessly with your favourite ingredients: broccoli, courgettes, spinach, mushrooms, fresh or dried tomatoes, chicken, ham, parmesan, cheddar, etc.
