Savoury crumble

Savoury crumble

Quick and healthy recipe with 100% The Barn products suggested by WESH food

Ingredients

2 people

HACHÉ 

✔ 300 g chicken breast OR 300 g beef mince 

✔ Spices of your choice

✔ Salt and pepper

 

VEGETABLES 

For example:

✔ 4 shallots

✔ ½ bunch of radishes

✔ 2 stalks of celery

✔ 2 carrots

 

BÉCHAMEL 

✔ 40 g organic or farm butter

✔ 40 g rice flour

✔ 500 ml broth or farm milk or plant milk (for a lactose-free version).

✔ A few branches of chives

✔ Salt and pepper

 

CRUMBLE 

✔ 50 g rice flour

✔ 30 g butter

✔ Cheese (optional - may be lactose free)

✔ 2 tsp spices of your choice: coriander powder, curry powder, herbes de Provence, rosemary, etc.

✔ Salt and pepper

✔ For an even crispier crumble: add chopped pumpkin or sunflower seeds or oat or spelt flakes.

Preparation

HACHE

  1. If you choose the chicken option: cut the breasts into pieces and chop them in your food processor.
  2.  Mix together

 

VEGETABLES

  1. Peel the shallots and cut all the vegetables into pieces
  2. Cook the vegetables and the minced meat (if possible in a steamer)

 

BECHAMEL

  1. Mix the butter and flour in a small pan.
  2. Add the broth or milk.
  3. Leave on the heat for 10 minutes, turning very regularly, until the béchamel thickens.
  4. Add salt, pepper and chopped chives.

 

CRUMBLE

  1. Soften the butter.
  2. Mix with the rest of the ingredients.

 

Layer the different preparations and grill in the oven, until the crumble is golden brown.
