Quick and healthy recipe with 100% The Barn products suggested by WESH food

Ingredients

For 4 people

Raw carrot with ricotta and sesame seeds

✔️ 2 large carrots

✔️ 150gr ricotta cheese

✔️ Sesame seeds

✔️ 1 lemon

✔️ Salt and pepper

 

Apple, cream cheese and nuts

✔️ 2 apples

✔️ A handful of nuts

✔️ 1 fresh sheep cheese

✔️ Chives

✔️ Pepper

Preparation

Raw carrot with ricotta and sesame seeds

  1. Peel the carrots.
  2. Toast the sesame seeds in a pan.
  3. Make nice carrot strips, like tagliatelle.
  4. Season the ricotta with salt, pepper and a dash of lemon juice
  5. Place half a spoonful of seasoned ricotta cheese on the end of each slice. Then roll the slice on itself until it forms a small maki, or snail.
  6. Prick the maki with a toothpick to hold it in place.
  7. Dip the maki in the toasted sesame seeds.

 

Apple, cream cheese and nuts

  1. Wash and cut the apple into thin slices.
  2. Wash, dry and chop the chives
  3. Top each slice with a little sheep's cheese and season with pepper.
  4. Decorate with a piece of walnut.
