Banana bread

Quick and healthy recipe for a savoury cake, with 100% The Barn products suggested by WESH food

Ingredients

1 cake

✔ 250gr 3-grain flour 

✔ 30gr oatmeal

✔ 3 eggs

✔ 120ml rice milk

✔ 40ml rapeseed oil

✔ 30gr tahini (white sesame puree)

✔ 25gr fresh yeast 

✔ 1 tsp cinnamon

✔ 3 large bananas

✔ 30g crushed hazelnuts

✔ 1 pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Mix together the dry ingredients: 3-grain flour, rolled oats, chopped hazelnuts, salt and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, mash the bananas with a fork and add the eggs, yeast, milk, oil and tahini.
  4. Assemble the two preparations.
  5. Oil a cake tin and pour the mixture into it.
  6. Bake in the oven at half height for 45-50 minutes.
  7. Turn out immediately and allow to cool.
