We are Quentin and Julien. We've been friends for a long time and have been inseparable since university, when we were roommates and in our various sports clubs! We decided to embark together on a project as crazy as we are: to make organic food more accessible.
It was in October 2016, both young dads, that we decided to quit our jobs and take the plunge into our dream project with the desire to undertake and have a direct and tangible impact on nature and biodiversity.
Strengthened by our previous experiences and more motivated than ever, we put together a team of ten people to open the first shop "The Barn Bio Market" in Etterbeek in May 2017. The feeling in our stomachs quickly turned into overwhelming energy when we saw the many customers gather in front of the shop before the doors opened. That day, we broke our first record: 500 customers in one day!
The Saint-Gilles shop will open less than a year later, followed by the Ixelles and Antwerp shops in 2019, the Jette shop in 2020 and the Vanderkindere shop in 2021, all with the same customer enthusiasm for the project.
