The Wine Estate
On the large Chenoy wine estate in Emines (Namur region), brothers Pierre-Marie and Jean-Bernard produce organic and Belgian wines with passion and meticulousness!
The estate was founded in 2002 by Philippe Grafe. He wanted to take up the challenge of producing Belgian 100% wine, despite the weather constraints in our country. His passion and perseverance have paid off and the crops on the 11 hectares of the estate are doing wonderfully.
When they took over the estate in 2017, the two Despatures brothers had the vineyard certified and promoted an "Original", "Organic" and "Local" production;
"Original"Â by the simple fact of growing vines in Belgium but also by the pioneering position of Domaine du Chenoy in the use of interspecific grape varieties.
"Organic"Â by producing environmentally friendly terroir wines.
"Local"Â by favouring the marketing of our products in short circuits.
Made from a vintage blend of different grape varieties, this "Extra Brut" cuvée is unique in its kind.
Its grapes are delicately hand-picked and its long maturation on laths gives a sparkling wine with elegance and finesse, with a subtle perfume of citrus and white fruit.
Its festive bubbles with a remarkable persistence in the mouth will bring you, with their fresh and delicately fruity notes, a precious moment filled with freshness and pure pleasure.
Serve chilled (6/8°).
At The Barn, you can find their floral and fruity sparkling wine called La Perle de Wallonie, also available in a rosé version!
