Daniel Cloots has been passionate about cheese for 40 years. He started out as a goat farmer and since 1989 he has devoted himself to the production of raw milk cheeses. With his team of 10 people, he produces cheeses made from milk collected from farms in the region. The production of Gros Chêne cheese has increased significantly since the autumn of 2012 to meet the growing demand from the public.
This success symbolises the demand for quality that Daniel and his wife Michèle have always sought, including from their suppliers. This success is also based on the values brought by the couple. Respect for workers, consumers, suppliers and partners, or for the products, is reflected in a cooperative with a social vocation that brings together some fifty cooperators.
