A growing family project
It all began in May 2009. André got together with a few producers to create a distribution platform for organic fruit and vegetables: the GPFL-Bio. Their objective: to create a marketing tool for local organic producers and processors. During 2011, the distribution platform diversifies by referencing processed products close to local agriculture. This diversification intensified the following year in response to the request of certain farmers and craftsmen to take advantage of the GPFL-Bio's logistics to place their products in the shops. In September 2013, the group changed its commercial name to Interbio. A name that is more in line with the platform's activities and distributions, while keeping the family aspect intact.
Today, Interbio supplies us with a large part of our assortment.
A strong mission
Their primary objective is to support sustainable agricultural projects by facilitating sales and logistics. Interbio is the proximity with the production, both local and foreign (many contacts on site). The proximity to help them if necessary as well. The freshness Above all, with just-in-time stock management for fruit and vegetables. The diversity A wide range of choices in the developed sectors. And finally the reactivity To listen to customers in order to meet their expectations.
The values
Interbio is committed to honesty, fairness, integrity, transparency and mutual respect in the management of the company and its relations with the different parties (producers, processors and customers). This involves dialogue and listening to stakeholders in order to progress and create many opportunities. Their project also focuses on the protection of the individual by valuing cultural diversity and identity, individual professional development and safety. Finally, the company is committed to protecting the environment through responsible actions to preserve natural resources and by using renewable energy sources.
