Hans, the baker’s son and a forest ranger, and Philippe, a born entrepreneur and animal lover, met in their pursuit of environmentally responsible business. Together with local talents Robin and Tibo, they created a vibrant symbiosis of quality, taste, and service. This is how De Zotte Morgen came to life: an artisanal bakery working exclusively with organic products.

Believing in agriculture that respects nature and in reducing food miles, they consciously choose organic flour from Belgian wheat. In every aspect of their work, they consider their environmental impact. They handle water and energy carefully, encourage reusable packaging, and always provide a recyclable or compostable alternative.

Not only the planet, but also the health of their customers is central. That’s why they use less salt and sugar, and butter only when truly necessary. All their breads are made with sourdough: a natural fermentation process that not only makes the bread rise but also improves digestion, stabilizes blood sugar, extends freshness, and, above all, enriches flavor.
