History
Observing, anticipating and acting in accordance with natural cycles is the philosophy adopted by our partner "Coteaux Nantais".

Jacques Moreau created the "Coteaux Nantais" company with only 2 hectares of orchards. Two decades later, he joined forces with René Delhommeau and the orchard expanded to twenty hectares of apple trees. Together, they began to oppose conventional farming practices and became increasingly interested in a new method of production without chemicals or fertilizers, biodynamics.

The conviction of organic
The conversion to organic production was not without its challenges, but both partners were convinced that they were working in the right direction. In 1970, after a few years of low production, their delicious apple juice took off. Year after year, their range expanded and the fruit station grew with kiwis, plums, strawberries, rhubarb and vine peaches. The hard work has paid off!

The Coteaux Nantais have been Demeter certified since 1997.

Their products at the Barn
You can find their delicious fig, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, apricot and cherry jams, as well as their semi-dry cider in the shop!
