By respecting a fundamental principle: using organic cultivation methods that guarantee the preservation and continuous improvement of the soil, its structure and biodiversity.

  • 100% of the Barn's products are organically grown.
  • With each new market opening, The Barn sets up a new partnership with a local market gardening project.

The Barn aims to make sustainable food accessible to everyone by offering the cheapest products on the market.

  • Ensure affordable prices for all, but never at the expense of the producer.
  • To offer a wide but basic range that meets a general rule of "one need = one product".

  • Open new markets in different areas.

PROJECTS VIABILITY

The Barn develops strong partnerships to ensure a stable income for our producers and processors.

 

Actions :

  • They commit to order volumes at the beginning of the year.
  • Together they study the profitability of the projects.
  • They offer pre-financing of equipment.
  • All suppliers are paid within 7 days.
  • Market garden projects receive an investment premium at the beginning of the collaboration.
  • We offer the help of our Barners during the summer to work in the crops of our producers.

We have 400 stories to tell around our 400 products. We take the time to select meaningful projects and put their work at the centre of our concerns.

  • We work with projects that share our values. 
  • No branding of "The Barn" products.
  • We are developing a strong collaboration with our producers. 
  • The Barn explores the projects of all its distributors (regular visits, meetings, trips,...).

If the two founders can count on passionate and responsible employees, it is thanks to the requirements they impose on themselves at each recruitment.
