The personal information we collect is stored and processed by third parties.
To manage customer returns, Carrefour uses the services of Zapio, whose registered office is located at Bd Saint-Lazare 4, 1210 Saint-Josse-ten-Noode (Belgium) (hereinafter referred to as "Zapio" or "the subcontractor").
Customer Conversation" is a satisfaction survey technique organised by The Barn allowing customers to give their opinion on the The Barn shop they have visited.
All customers can voluntarily take part in this type of survey via in-store tools (typically, scanning a QR code redirecting them to the Zapio survey platform).
If the customer agrees to respond to The Barn's request to communicate their opinion on their visit to the shop, their participation in this survey requires the explicit and unreserved acceptance of the present regulations.
It is not possible to take part in these surveys in any way other than those described in these rules.
Participation in the "Customer Conversation" is reserved for natural persons who have reached the age of 18, reside in Belgium and accept these rules.
Participation in the "Customer Conversation" is optional and participation in the surveys is completely free. You can always unsubscribe.
"Personal data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person directly or indirectly (hereinafter "data") as stipulated in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 and the Belgian law of 30 July 2018 transposing the European Regulation.
We will only process your personal data in the context of "Customer Conversation" for the purposes described below or for which you have given your specific consent. We will not collect or process more data or other types of data than is necessary to fulfil our purposes. We will not process your data for any other purpose or pass it on to third parties.
1. Information provided at the time of registration and direct communication of scoring
As part of the "Customer Conversation" limited to scoring (without exchange), we collect the following personal data:
● Identification data: surname and first name.
● Contact details: e-mail address.
● Your feedback (scoring 0 - 10).
● The moment (date and time) of acceptance of these rules (Terms & Conditions ).
We process this registration/reference data in order to communicate with you within the strict framework of this survey.
2. Participation in the survey
As regards the extended "Customer Conversation" (with exchanges), in addition to your contact data mentioned above, we process :
● Your commentary in the form of free text.
● Your free consent to communicate this comment to your shop manager.
● Your telephone number (optional).
● Your free consent to authorise the same shop manager to contact you by e-mail and/or telephone to help him/her receive you better.
We ensure that your personal data is deleted as soon as it is no longer useful for the purposes for which it was collected. The data exchanged during your feedback (scoring, comments, etc.) is kept for a maximum of 24 months before being made anonymous. Your profile will be deleted after 24 months if you are inactive.
The Barn attaches great importance to data security. We apply an appropriate level of security and have taken the necessary administrative, IT and physical measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss or alteration and against publication or unauthorised access to personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed. Our information security policies and procedures comply strictly with generally accepted international standards and are regularly reviewed and updated to meet our business needs, technological changes and regulatory requirements. Access to your personal data is only granted to employees and service providers of The Barn whose activities or performance of duties require it.
In the event of a data breach involving personal data, The Barn will comply with all applicable laws regarding the notification of personal data breaches.
In managing this survey, The Barn, as data controller, processes participants' data in accordance with the applicable legislation on the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of personal data and in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which is available at https://thebarn.bio/politique-de-vie-privee/.
Participants are informed that their personal data will be processed by The Barn and its subcontractor Zapio for the purposes of managing this survey. Your data will also be communicated within companies belonging to The Barn if this communication is necessary for the required processing.
The Barn will not pass on the participant's personal data to third parties except in the case of the participant's express and prior agreement.
The Barn will take all necessary precautions to keep the data secret.
Participants have the right to access their personal data and may, if necessary, request that it be corrected or deleted by The Barn :

The Barn keeps the personal data collected for the time necessary to manage the survey.
